Saudi Arabia To Join UAE-Israel Deal, Trump

US President Trump has said that Saudi Arabia is expected to join the deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

During a press conference briefing at the White House, Trump said he would soon tell the UN Security Council that the United States wanted all previous sanctions against Iran lifted.

According to diplomatic sources, Russia and China are expected to oppose the US move. Sanctions against Tehran were suspended after the Iran nuclear deal.

It should be noted that last week an agreement was reached between the UAE and Israel for relations, under which the two countries also agreed to open an embassy. The agreement will be formally signed in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has refused to recognize Israel until an international peace agreement is signed with the Palestinians.
