Ways To Retain Glowing Skin That Makes You Look Young

If you have glowing skin, retaining the glow is very difficult. The health of your skin can change from glowing to ordinary in a few days. And as you age the glowing skin will become a word of the past such as ‘you used to have such glowing skin; I used to be so in awe of you’. But if you take care of your skin, it can be forever glowing and you can also keep looking young and your peers will always be in awe of you. Here are some trusted ways to retain glowing skin:

Use sunscreen regularly:

If you do not use a proper sun screen, the ultraviolet radiation can harm your skin and also affect its glow. Always make it a point to use only the best skin care products such as mineral based SPF products and the SPF should ideally be at least 30. Without sunscreen the colour of your skin can also change, so make sure that you use it regularly.

Exfoliate your skin:

There are many skin cells that get lodged in the pores and if you exfoliate the skin every day, your skin will be glowing and healthy. Care should be taken while exfoliating your skin; you should not use harsh exfoliators because constant use will damage the skin. You should be using light exfoliators which will do the job, i.e., help wash away the dead cells.

Take care of what you eat:

It is a well-known fact that if your insides are not good, it will show on your skin. It is necessary to keep the insides healthy by eating good healthy food. Avoid processed food; avoid sugar and other such foods which are considered harmful for intestinal health. Also never consume or limit the consumption of junk food. Start by including nuts into your diet. Nuts are rich in omega 3 fatty acids and are a good source of protein too. Include green leafy vegetables and other foods that are rich in anti-oxidants because they will help your skin glow. Try to include fish and foods rich in Vitamin E in your diet. If required include supplements to your daily regimen to get the right amount of vitamins and minerals.

Exercise:

Most of us do not know that exercise has a direct impact on the health of your skin. A regular exercise regimen will not only increase the circulation of blood to your skin, the necessary vitamins and minerals will also reach the skin. Sweating will open the pores and all the dirt and dead skin will come out. Exercise regularly for good healthy skin.

Drink water:

If you are not properly hydrated it will show on your skin. There are many studies that have found that keeping oneself hydrated has a lot of positive effects on the skin. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day has other benefits too, so why wait, go and get a glass of water and hydrate. It will surely show on your skin.
